On A Budget Solution To Clean Effectively Dirty And Grimy Windows On The Outside

Hello there, my cyber friends! The cleaning season has begun and you have to pay attention to every inch of your house when you do the cleaning. Honestly, when I said that I’ve officially finished cleaning and I’m ready to relax in my new and shiny home, well, I’ve missed out cleaning the windows.

They were so dirty, especially on the outside, and I had to come with a saving solution to remove all that heavy dirt and grime, because Windex wasn’t enough. Well, I could’ve used just Windex to remove all the dirt lingering on the windows, but it will cost me a fortune, so I created my perfect window cleaner for extremely dirty windows, and I want to share it with you:

You need:

– 1 cup of vinegar
– 2 teaspoons of dish soap (Dawn)
– 8 cups of hot water

Tools you need:

– foam mop
– squeegee

Let’s proceed the cleaning:

  • Add all the ingredients in a bucket and mix it well using the mop. Now, use the mop to clean every inch of your window, and also the trim.
  • After you’re done scrubbing the windows, rinse them. In case you are living in a house with backyard, you may rinse them perfectly with the hose.
  • At the end, use the squeegee to remove all the water excess.
Window cleaning tip: you better clean the windows when is not too hot and sunny outside, because the soap will dry on the window instead cleaning it.
